Rosslare Harbour Summer Festival
an exhibition being held in the St. Helens Hotel, Rosslare Co. Wexford (formerly the Great Southern)
this exhibition organised by John Boyce and Brian Clare showing photos, ship models, certs, documents as well as personal items from ex. ISL seamen. Its an excellent, important and very well presented exhibition and as far as I am aware its the first time a maritime exhibition has concentrated solely on Irish Shipping Ltd. these Irish seamen and ships sailed all over the World under the Irish flag and if you want to get a flavour of what this company was all about please go along and give them your support. Open tomorrow Saturday the 4th July and Sunday 11am till 8pm.
