 Fortuna 1 at Greenore May 2007

The Fortuna 1 is a Latvian ship which was anchored of the port of Greenore  for the last six weeks because there was no money to pay the crew or berth-age fees in Greenore. She has now arrived at a lay by berth in Dundalk, hopefully the Irish or Latvian marine ministers will soon sort this mess out, for the sake of the crew, up to now they have been depending on charity for food. 
The Fortuna 1 is now under arrest, and the owner has about two weeks to reclaim her, or she will be sold.  The ITF don’t think the owner will try to keep her
